Our Vision
To provide a committed, safe, caring and respectful learning environment where students are engaged to achieve their full potential.
Our Beliefs
- We belong to a committed, culturally responsive school
- All children are capable and curious learners
- We focus on students’ health and well-being and support students to develop into respectful, responsible and resilient members of their community
- We have high expectations for student achievement and encourage all students to demonstrate their personal best
Our Aim
At Beachlands Primary School, we pay particular attention to the early years of schooling, from KindiLink to Year 2. These years are the platform from which every child can become a successful student.
Our Program
In Early Childhood we implement a child centred programme based upon the principles outlined in the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) – Belonging, Being & Becoming, Kindy Curriculum Guidelines (SCSA) and The Western Australian Curriculum.
We strive to ensure children feel happy, safe, and welcomed that includes promoting positive partnerships with parents and families. We believe that children are capable and curious learners, so indoor and outdoor learning activities are created to support curriculum experiences that build knowledge and friendships.
We provide explicit instruction in literacy and numeracy to help scaffold student success in foundational knowledge, helping to set up our students with common language and learning experiences that support their transition through the school.
Our goal is to provide an exciting program that allows children to learn through relevant and meaningful experiences that cater for different learning styles and levels of development.
