Principal's Welcome

Nhurra Barndi (Hello all) Parents and Carers,

As the proud Principal of Beachlands Primary School, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome. Our mantra, ‘Every Child, Every Chance’, as stated in our Business Plan 2024-2026, reflects the belief in providing the right conditions for our students to achieve success in their learning journey.

All of us here at Beachlands Primary School share a vision to provide a committed, safe, caring, and respectful learning environment where all students are supported and engaged to achieve their full potential.

Staff at Beachlands Primary School are culturally responsive in their approaches, valuing the culture of First Nations People through meaningful learning opportunities on our local Aboriginal history, language, and On-Country experiences.

Our highly skilled staff are proud to offer an outstanding education for all students at our school. We have a clear focus on delivering high-impact teaching and learning strategies that is supported through a school culture of collaboration, explicit teaching, effective curriculum design and high-quality teaching. The school has developed structures and processes to monitor our progress through a cycle of planning, implementation and evaluation of all programs as we constantly seek to improve the daily experience and the long-term outcomes of our students.

By working closely alongside our families, carers, service providers and local organisations we truly understand and meet the individual needs of our students. Our staff build mutually respectful relationships with all students and prioritise their wellbeing each day. Our school values of Be Caring, Be Respectful and Be Responsible underpin the relationships we develop and how we interact with all members of our school community. We encourage every student to be their ‘Beachlands Best’ by setting high expectations, encouraging positive behaviour, and valuing family involvement.

It is a privilege to work at Beachlands Primary School and I look forward to working in collaboration with you in the best interests of your child.
